Chavurat Lamdeinu
Prayer - Study - Community
A Typical Shabbat Morning Service

Then we study with some coffee cake.

Then we pray...do we have a minyan yet?

Can we count George? Didn't he go to shul in Newport?

And the ever popular kiddush...bagels and
whitefish and lox! Oh, my!

The minhag of the chavurah is wine (specifically
Manischewitz Concord Grape), slivovitz (only
Jelinek's) and whatever else someone happens
to bring!.

First we have some fair trade, shade grown,
organic coffee.

And finally Rabbi Gais leads the cleanup by
example chanting:

"I polished up the floor so carefully,
That now I am the rabbi at the chavurah!"

You might be wondering what this music has to
do with a shabbat service....

You are probably still wondering what this
music has to do with a shabbat service....

If you are  still wondering what this music has
to do with a shabbat service....the answer is
nothing but look at Ruth singing to the left?
