Purim Spiels

Mal, our very talented Purim spielwriter, got
together with Goldberg and Solomon and
wrote My Yiddishe Mikado for 2005. He also
performed. Is there no limit to his talents?

Bebe as Mordechai pleading her case
before Ahasuerus as she does in real life in
Family Court. Art imitating life. (Purim 2005)

Phyllis as Esther? Oye and begorrah, if Mrs
Richmond could see her baby girl now.  It
would set Irish-Jewish relations back 2000
years. Or...maybe not. (Purim - 2005).

Henry as ... don't ask! What is that thing around
your neck? Are you serious? Have you no
shame?  (Purim - 2005)

Bruce as Haman. The aleph on his forehead
is for Amalek (Purim - 2005).

And now boys and girls Rabbi Ruth will read
you a story about a girl named Esther
(Purim - 2008).

The Three Rebbes - Louie, Moishe and Curley
                                            (Purim - 2008).

We gave Phyllis "Wouldn't It Be Loverly"
cause she's got an accent of some kind.
                           (Purim - 2008).

"I'm ready for my closeup Mr De Mille!"
                            (Purim - 2008).

Attorney Bebe of Vashti, Cann, Cheatem
and Howe  singing "Show Me" as in show
me the law.
                     (Purim - 2008).

                         Author! Author!
Spieler creator Malcolm rests after directing "My
Frum Lady" .
                   (Purim - 2008).

Bruce as Haman, with his old friend
Slivovitz, singing "I've Grown Accustomed
to Kiddush".
                   (Purim - 2008).

Mal ( Mordecai) and Ruth ( Esther) celebrating with the
Rebbes in "You Did It". What did they do? Did I miss it?
Too much slivovitz? Huh?
                       (Purim - 2008).

Russ as Mordecai crooning "I Have Always Walked
on the Shabbat Day". Russ, I thinking you missed
something. Are you walking? Did you think you were
Nanki-Poo? Tolouse Lautrec? Porgy sans goat cart?
                           (Purim - 2008).

Ruth (as herself) thinking "how can someone as
regal as I be surrounded by such toads!!"
                     (Purim - 2008).
